First day to work in 2009

It’s a wonderful new year, really eager and can’t wait to go in into the office, with a good smile and wishing everyone Happy New Year. The highway as usual, the traffic had started to pack and people are returning to KL again. After the long holiday break. Park my car and enter the office, the atmosphere was good in the morning, while Astro is on and everyone was watching nice Japanese delicacy and most of my colleague were having pleasant breakfast such as dim sum, bread etc and accommodate with nice hot coffee and hot Milo (chocolate – not sure why most Malaysian only know the drink as Milo and not chocolate).

However the situation turns sad, as we walk back to our own sitting. On the Notebook (others on their Desktop PC), oops! there is NO internet connection (both wireless and wired network) and the linked / bridge to Server had broke down too. With this, looking around, most of my friend mood no more happy, some intend to even take half day off. While myself continue with reading old email and achieving email (deleting email). Cleaning up table, wipe it with cloth. Wow, the dirt had pile up so much… shame shame.

Imagine how it is like working without an internet in this century. What a nightmare it will be, and more so – the feeling of zzzZZZ (for me). To avoid falling asleep, will continue my draft-blog and past it later of the evening.

Time past very slowly today, without internet. It’s just 11am and it will be another 2 hour to reach lunch time. I decide to go around, sharing of New Year and their happy moment. A bit of gossip-gossip around. These really help time fly. Lunch time finally, had the vegetarian lunch and rojak (mixed fruits in black prawn source).

What else to do after lunch, other than use it to drafting the blog, about an hour later manage to get a short internet connection for a while. Uploaded some email (but repetitive and had to do delete again and again). Real irritating. Alternative is then upload some photo to blog.

What a day it had been. This is what it called “the will of man”. If I did pray for it, thing will surely be different. Prayer time, prayer time (sounded such per tactic religious joe).

{ my longest blog so far – forgive my grammar and spelling }
